A new series to help children to apply their phonics skills. Each book, focussing on a different phoneme, takes children from speaking and listening, to reading, to spelling and writing. Books increase in complexity, as outlined in Letters and Sounds. High frequency decodable and tricky words are introduced gradually throughout the series. Each book comes with opportunities for monitoring and assessment, guidance for teachers, and questions for comprehension. The accompanying teacher's book offers help with planning lessons, photocopiable activity sheets and guidance.
