Minimum hardware requirements
For PC
The following hardware is the minimum required for the PC you use to work on Whiteboard Active, whether it is a standalone PC or on a network (a client PC):
- IBM compatible PC
- Intel Pentium 3 at 500 or 600 MHz processor or faster
- 256 MB RAM
- 1GB free space on hard disk
- Sound card and speakers
- CD-ROM drive 16x speed
- 1024 x 768 screen resolution at 16 bits per pixel (thousands of colours)
- 100Base-T Ethernet NIC network
For the server
The following hardware is the minimum required for the server you use to run Whiteboard Active when installed on the network:
- Pentium 4 2GHz
- 1GB RAM
- 1000Base-T Ethernet recommended
- 20% free drive space on shared partition
Whiteboards
The following interactive whiteboards are supported:
- Hitachi software
- Promethean ACTIVboard
- Smart Technologies SMART Board
Networks
The following networks are supported:
- Windows 2000 Server
- Windows 2003 Server
- RM Community Connect 3
